1. About QtCoCo

QtCoCo (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a free, hobby-operated website that helps quilters document their projects, track patterns, and share their work with others. It is not a commercial service and is operated for personal, non-profit purposes.

2. Who May Use This Site

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• This service is intended for United States residents.
• By registering, you confirm that you meet both of these requirements.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your username and password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Personal Information We Collect

To create an account, we collect your username and email address. We use this information only to:

• Verify your account and send password reset emails
• Notify you of important account or security activity

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for any purpose. We do not collect payment information of any kind.

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at hello@qtcoco.com.

5. Your Content

You own your content. Everything you post on QtCoCo — photos, quilt descriptions, patterns, and other material — belongs to you.

By posting, you grant QtCoCo a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display your content to other users of the site for the purpose of operating the service. This license ends when you delete your content or close your account.

We do not claim ownership of your quilts, photographs, patterns, or ideas.

6. Content Standards

QtCoCo is a family-friendly community. By posting content you agree that it will:

• Be appropriate for all ages and audiences
• Not contain nudity, graphic violence, hate speech, or harassment of any kind
• Not infringe the copyright or intellectual property rights of others
• Not advertise or promote commercial products or services

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards and to suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly violate them.

7. No Warranty

QtCoCo is provided “as is” as a free hobby service. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, data preservation, or fitness for any particular purpose. We are not liable for any loss of data or damages arising from use of the site.

We recommend keeping your own copies of photos and content you care about.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
